Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) offers high-ranking, research-based
undergraduate and graduate academics.
Located in Melbourne, Florida, FIT has been ranked by such publications
as Forbes and U.S. News as a top-tier university.
FIT awards undergraduate degrees in engineering, science, aeronautics,
business, psychology, math, communications, education and humanities. FIT
also offers master’s degrees in these fields and several others.
Research is a central part of undergraduate and graduate study. Research
activities are done in collaboration with state and local organizations
and include work in such areas as marine life, alternative fuels and
energy, particle physics and aeronautics.
Student life at FIT is teeming with activity. Residence halls, which are

students have access are more than 15 intercollegiate sports teams and a

Undergraduate admission is based on one’s transcripts, standardized test
scores and personal essay. Each graduate program has its own admission
requirements.
Tuition may be covered in part or in full through financial aid offerings
such as Pell grants and federal loans, which are available to eligible
students.
