Forward Analytics is a Wisconsin-based research company that provides unbiased analysis of state and local policy issues to state and local politicians. Forward Analytics' aim is to use the greatest data available to expose state concerns and to help policymakers comprehend that data so they can make educated policy decisions.

Dale Knapp, the founder of Forward Analytics, has over two decades of research expertise in economics and public policy. Prior to joining Forward Analytics, Mr. Knapp worked for the nonpartisan wisconsin taxpayers alliance for 18 years, the last 15 as Research Director. Forward Analytics, a branch of the Wisconsin Counties Association, was founded in 2018.
