Alex Eckelberry is a technology CEO with an extensive background in senior technology leadership, with private, venture/PE backed, and publicly-traded companies. Alex was most recently President and COO of AutoLoop, a SaaS disrupter in the automotive technology space, now merged with Affinitiv to create one of the leading companies in automotive technology. Before AutoLoop, Alex spent several years as an investor and board member, including being a board member of BlueStripe Software (acquired by Microsoft); a board member of Google-backed StopBadware; the first independent board member of security leaders Knowbe4 and Malwarebytes; and chairman of the board of Runaware Holding AB. Senior leadership experience includes President, Security Division of GFI/Teamviewer, CEO of Meros (technology acquired by DXC Technology), CEO of Sunbelt Software (acquired by GFI/TeamViewer), executive VP of Mijenix (acquired by Ontrack) and VP and General Manager, Utilities Business Unit for publicly-traded Quarterdeck (now Symantec and WebEx). He started his career in Silicon Valley at Borland International, one of the original leaders in languages and development tools.
