Founder April Gargiulo created Vintner’s Daughter with a singular goal in mind: to create the very finest, most performance-driven nutritional skincare in the world. She had struggled with her skin all her life and, after not finding any natural, active, or safe solutions, she set out to create her own dream product. Seeking inspiration from her background in fine winemaking, Gargiulo knew that nutrient-rich, high-quality ingredients and time-honored formulation were crucial to creating remarkable products — whether it be a bottle of Cabernet or a bottle of skincare. With this unique perspective, she spent two years researching, testing, and adhering to a meticulous formulation process. Active Botanical Serum was the first product to be born out of these extreme principles of efficacy and quality in 2014 and has joyfully become an award-winning, beloved product around the world. In 2019, Vintner’s Daughter launched the highly anticipated Active Treatment Essence as the next step in their evolution of nutritional skincare.
