Ari Glass is a prominent New York based hedge fund manager, involved in the day-to-day operations of Boothbay Management as its founding partner and managing member. He studied at City University of New York-Queens College, from where he earned his Bachelor’s of Art with honors. In his current position over at Boothbay he is in charge of the company’s one-off investments, seeding early-stage hedge funds, and the management of its hybrid funds.

Before starting his own fund, Ari Glass was President of Paine Heights Management where he oversaw the company's interests like management of a special opportunity hedge fund that invested in the SPAC marketplace. He also advised on transactions in the emerging hedge fund sector. Over the course of two years and 4 months, he served as President of Platinum Management; the fund won two industry awards for Multi Strategy Fund of the Year.

There Ari Glass was responsible for overseeing all non-investing activities, as well as the firm’s asset allocation and risk management, including its private investment funds. For more than 7 years, this noted businessman served as the Chief Operating Officer of Intrepid Capital Management. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Vector Capital Management, a statistical arbitrage hedge fund in Norwalk.
