Christopher Wright is Chairman of YiMei Capital.

In his earlier professional career Mr Wright served as Head of Global Private Equity for Dresdner Kleinwort Capital and was a Group Board Member of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson working in New York, London and Frankfurt with responsibility for $5bn in alternative assets in developed and emerging markets. He acted as Chairman of various in-house investment funds prior to and following the latter's integration with Allianz Private Equity. He had joined Kleinwort Benson Limited in 1979 and worked in London, Los Angeles and New York before taking a group-wide role. Mr Wright was subsequently Acting Global Head of Private Equity and Infrastructure investing at Standard Bank of South Africa (Johannesburg/London).
