David Baga joined Mural in December 2022 as CEO to lead the company’s overall business vision and strategy. He is a seasoned operations executive, with more than 20 yearsʼ of worldwide executive-level leadership experience across consumer and B2B companies. His background encompasses both high-growth scale-ups and organizational transformation.

Most recently, David was the CEO at Even, a financial benefits platform helping employees escape the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle. Even provided more than $3B in on-demand pay to its 2M members and was acquired by Walmart’s fintech venture Hazel in March 2022. Prior to Even, David was the Chief Operating Officer at Lightspeed Venture Partners and Chief Business Officer at Lyft, where he built the strategy and grew the B2B division to 25 percent of the company's total revenue.

David is a graduate of the entrepreneurship program at Royal Roads University in Victoria, Canada, and currently resides in the Bay Area.
