Dennis Stone has 40 years of management, technology, commercialization, and international experience. With NASA for 30 years, he led support to the commercial space industry and helped manage a nearly $1B NASA investment portfolio including in Elon Musk’s SpaceX. A proponent of microgravity for bio/pharma research, Mr. Stone helped build demand for space in the life sciences. His other NASA experience includes program management, system engineering, and international relations. He is founder and President of World Space Week Association which stimulates STEM education via an annual UN-declared event in 86 nations. He has dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Hawaii.
