Duncan Lamb is a Finnish entrepreneur, designer, and the co-founder of Aether Things, a San Francisco-based company that focuses on integrating software and hardware to make life just a little bit easier. The first product from Lamb’s venture was Cone, a music speaker that curates a user’s music, podcasts, and radio by learning their listening habits. With Cone, Lamb wanted to develop a thinking music player that providers users with an elevated home music listening experience. More than ‘just a speaker’, Cone learns its owner’s tastes and then seamlessly streams the songs and genres they want to hear.Prior to founding his own company, Lamb was a designer for big name companies such as Nokia and Skype. He attended Helsinki University of Art and Design as well as Sheffield Hallam University in Britain. In March 2015, Lamb left Aether Things. He joined Haik as a designer, offering his knowledge and expertise to other startups during the product design and strategy phase. In July 2015, Lamb started working at TransferWise as the design director.
