Gareth Henry studied actuarial mathematics at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. After graduating in 2000 he joined the global investment firm Schroders. After working for the management group for a few years, Gareth went to the United States in 2007 to work for Fortress Investment Group. He is now a managing director for the company. Gareth overseas the marketing for the company in the United States as well as in Europe and the Middle East.

Part of Gareth's responsibilities with the firm include overseeing the wealth and pension funds of the company as well as the insurance relations that it has with other countries. In 2016, Gareth started working for Investor Relations as a Global Head. The firm is responsible for raising capital between it and other firms across the world. He has been responsible for the organization of the sales of the company, using the skills gained from Fortress Investment Group to assist in the growth of the firm.
