Gunnulf Martenson has over forty years of experience in the ICT industry in a variety of roles covering software and hardware design, network planning and consultancy. During this time he spent seven years with Nokia Telecommunications (now Nokia Siemens Networks). He worked for over ten years with private local telephone companies in Finland leading their international subsidiary, Finnet International for five years. He also was a member of the board of several of their software subsidiaries. In the early 1990s he was the telecommunications industry specialist in the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and is now a free-lance consultant to the World Bank. He holds a Master of Science degree from Stanford University in California and a Licentiate of Technology degree from Helsinki University of Technology in Finland.
