Ishan Sachdev is a Managing Director and Co-Founder of MIT Alumni Angels. He previously worked as a Research Associate at HBS focusing on financial inclusion in emerging markets, at iPay Technologies, a growth-stage payments startup, where he led a successful process to sell the company, as a venture capital investor at Bain Capital Ventures, and as a credit investor at Goldman Sachs. He also spent time at the US Department of the Treasury working on financial markets policy. He mentors for several startup accelerators including MassChallenge, the Techstars Barclays Accelerator, 500 Startups, and the MIT Sandbox. He received an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and an S.B. and M.Eng. from MIT, both in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
