Jerald currently serves as Chief Business Development Officer at OptionsCity, leading all business development and global expansion initiatives for the company. He brings with him 15 years of leadership experience from four futures and options exchanges, where he was responsible for driving growth and implementing strategic direction.Most recently, he was the Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer of GreenX, an environmental commodities exchange acquired by the CME Group. Prior to joining GreenX, Jerald served as a director of the management team at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), and Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME). At the DME, Jerald served as the Chief Marketing Officer and was instrumental in establishing the initial framework of the Dubai exchange from setup to launch, playing a leading role in generating volumes and building an international customer base. As an officer and vice president at NYMEX, Jerald was responsible for overseeing the creation of the DME, and, as part of a small team, for the development and marketing of NYMEX ClearPort® Clearing, a risk mitigation solution for over-the-counter (OTC) energy participants that is now the standard clearing mechanism for OTC energy contracts. Immediately preceding his appointment at GreenX, Jerald was the Director of Alliance and Venture Management at the CME, directly responsible for the CME's investment in the GreenX. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business with a minor in government from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
