Mr. Merchant has 35 years of experience in engineering and medical product development. He has a successful, diversified record of staff motivation and development, innovative product development and manufacturing implementation, and using his engineering skills in problem solving.

Mr. Merchant has held high-level positions at such companies as American Edwards Laboratories, Printronix, Ford Aerospace and Communication, Omnica Corporation, and Medtronic Blood Systems, to name a few. He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Cal State Long Beach, and obtained his California E.I.T. Certification in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Merchant also studied Pre-Engineering at Los Angeles Harbor Jr. College.
