Jotaro is an IT, media, and entertainment specialist who is also a Grammy-nominated musician, having recorded and produced with the likes of Haruomi Hosono (Yellow Magic Orchestra), Sean Lennon, Yoko Ono, Carlos Alomar, Maceo Parker, James Brown, Peter Erskine, Victor Bailey, Bill Evans, Randy Roos, and Larry Coryell. In 1996, Jotaro co-founded one of the very first online music distribution services, Music.jp, where he served as Sr Managing Director and CTO, developing the first digital rights management system as an integrated part of the CMS.

He is also currently the Authorized Representative and EP of Content Development for the Vatican Library, simultaneously developing “Digita Vaticana”, an ultra-high-resolution archive of hand-written manuscripts stored within.
