Kristina Salen has been a strategic and operating executive in technology and finance for nearly 30 years in both the public and private sectors. Most recently, she was the Chief Financial Officer of WWE during COVID where she helped lead the company to record EBITDA. Also in the public sector, Kristina served as the first CFO of Etsy, where she led the company’s global finance operations, as well as human resources, payments and marketing. During her tenure at Etsy, she oversaw the company’s IPO. On the private side, she was COO and CFO of UnitedMasters, working with the founder to launch a technology platform for recording artists . Kristina was also the CFO of Moda Operandi where she is responsible for its global finance, sales and distribution operations. Prior to her operating career, Kristina was an investor, leading the media, Internet and telecommunications equity research group at Fidelity Investments. While there, she helped build Fidelity's private equity efforts and spearheaded investments in some of the more successful tech start-ups of the last two decades. Prior to Fidelity, Kristina held executive roles at several financial institutions, including Oppenheimer Capital, Merrill Lynch, Lazard Freres and SBC Warburg. Kristina sits on the Board of Directors of SiriusXM, a satellite and online radio company and is their Audit Chair. She has also sat on the Board of Directors of Cornerstone OnDemand, a cloud-based talent management software solution company, and of Reinvent Capital, a SPAC founded by Reid Hoffman and Mark Pincus. Kristina also sits on the President's Business Strategy Council of Vassar College, her alma mater. Kristina holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from Vassar College and was designated at Fulbright Scholar in 1993. Kristina lives in Brooklyn with her two teenage sons.
