Born in Brazil and raised in France, Marcelo has been jumping between the developing and developed worlds his entire life, which explains his innate understanding of the two. Name a country and it’s likely that Marcelo has been there. He has traveled and worked in over 50 countries like Mozambique, China, Peru, Latvia, and Korea.
Marcelo has more than a decade of experience in channel and direct sales for both private and public sectors. He graduated from PUC-Rio in Production Engineering, and discovered his passion for business and technology at Microsoft. From there he transitioned to Oracle where he became head of Sales for Brazil, winning sales awards each year he was there as one of the best global performers in management and execution. He also happened to be Oracle’s youngest sales manager in the world.
