Marcus was responsible for the selection, deal making and growth of approx. 15 new media equity participations while at ProSiebenSAT.1 Media AG.

Marcus currently is a Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Rocket Internet SE, Berlin since 2014, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at MEDIA BROADCAST GmbH, Cologne since 2013 and Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Sixt Leasing AG, Pullach since 2015.

Marcus is also a Honorary Professor, Macromedia University of Applied Sciences, Munich since 2011.

Previously, Marcus was Vice Chairman and later Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Real Time Technology AG, Munich from 2010 to 2014 and Director of Diversification since 2006 Member of the Management Board at ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, Unterföhring from 2003 to 2010.

Priorly, Marcus was Chief Executive Officer / Chief Operating Officer at Kirch New Media AG, Munich from 1999 to 2003.

Before Kirch Media AG, Marcus was a Managing Director Digital Departement at ProSieben Media AG, Unterföhring from 1998 to 1999.
