Marcus Sakamoto is an old school finance executive. After graduating from UCLA he worked for Dimensional Fund Advisors, a leading quantitative fund management firm with funds based on research from Nobel Prize winners. After getting his MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business he has had a whirlwind career with several leading investment banks and hedge funds with postings in New York, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. His primary expertise is in the trading, structuring, and sales of complex financial products used for both speculating and hedging.
Marcus also served as executive producer for several educational architecture media with in-D Media and it’s popular Planet Architecture Series.

Today, Marcus is combining his financial acumen with his media experience in the new and emerging market of cryptocurrencies and blockchains.
