After majoring in Public Policy with a concentration in Energy Governance at the Hertie School of Governance, Meerim spent more than 3 years in consulting and primary research. The projects she covered ranged from microfinance solutions for adapting to climate change to non-dairy cream export strategy. She joined Energy Web in early 2019 and currently engages in regulatory market research and opportunity scoping for renewable energy and carbon markets.
