Michael Leavitt has served as a member of our board of directors since 2010. Since April 2009, Michael Leavitt has served as Chairman of Leavitt Partners, a private firm that advises people who invest in healthcare and food safety.

From 2005 to 2009, Michael Leavitt served as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in the administration of President George W. Bush and, from 2003 to 2005, he was Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. Michael Leavitt served as the Governor of the State of Utah from 1993 to 2003. Michael Leavitt serves as a director for Medtronic Inc. (NYSE: MDT) as well as for a number of private companies.

Michael Leavitt holds a B.S. in Economics and Business from Southern Utah University. The board of directors believes that Michael Leavitt political and business experience, including his tenure as head of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, qualifies him to serve as a member of our board of directors.
