Nish Kotecha held senior leadership positions in Banking (BZW, JP Morgan and Lehman Brothers) in the UK, working with large and complex companies on their corporate finance strategies, including Abbey National, BP, BT, National Power, New Look Retailers, ABF, etc as well as a number of smaller high growth groups focusing on technology and Consumer brands and retail.

After Banking, Nish was drawn to Entrepreneurship in emerging economies, notably around activity that would allow him to apply his finance skills to a model that would improve lives through responsible economic guidance and activity. In managing start up’s to complex organisations, Nish has gained direct experience of taking ownership of creating, supporting and implementing various business models; hiring, supporting and motivating people, across the entire spectrum (CEO’s, teams, etc) and assume full management responsibility of the P&L opportunities and risks. Nish has successfully raised funds for the entrepreneurial and institutional organisations with a specialty in consumer, retail and technology sectors.

Nish’s technology experience spans over 35 years from his first software venture as a coder from the age of 11 to opening the European ‘internet’ IPO market with the IPO of ebookers.

Today, Nish is the Chairman and Co-founder of Finboot tech, a pioneer in Blockchain technologies based in London and Barcelona.

Nish received the Freedom of the City (by redemption); is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of World Traders, Main Board Member and Chairman of the Investment Committee at the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a TiE Charter Member (former Chairman of TiE UK an Global Trustee).
