Before joining BioMedPartners AG, Mr. Burgermeister worked for Novartis Pharma AG where he was Senior Portfolio Manager in project management.
He was responsible for the evaluation of development projects in various stages and indications and served as interface to development finance.

Prior to Novartis, he was Senior Financial Analyst responsible for the European Biotech and Pharma sector at Zürcher Kantonalbank. In addition, he served as advisor to the fund Pharma Vision of the same institution.

Before that, he worked as strategic planning manager at Jomed AG (now Abbott Laboratories).

Today, Mr. Burgermeister holds a Master degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Basel (Biozentrum), a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and a degree as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
