Prof. Peter Cochrane, Ph.D. is the Founder of ConceptLabs, Inc. Prof. Cochrane serves as the Managing Director of Peter Cochrane Management Pty. Ltd. He serves as an Advisor at reQall, Inc. He served as Chief Technology Officer of BT Group plc. Previously, he worked for British Telecom Laboratories (BT) as the Chief Technologist, which he joined in 1973 and since then has worked on a variety of analogue and digital switching and transmission studies including as Head of Research from 1994 to 1999. He is charged with charting the future of technology for BT and served as the Head of BT Research Labs, responsible for 660 staff members. In 1988, he managed the Long Lines Division where he moved to establish the Systems Research Division in 1991. By 1993, he was heading the Research Department. In 1999, he was appointed British Telecom's Chief Technology Officer and created the Communications Consultants Group. Prof. Cochrane serves as a Member of the Advisory Board at Portview Communications Partners LP and served as an Advisor at Create Partners Limited. He served as a Technical Consultant to the Board of Directors at Technis International Plc. He served as an Advisor at LastMile Communications Limited. Prof. Baker serves as Member of Advisory Board at TTI Technologies LLC. He serves as an Independent Director at Picosecond Pulse Labs, Inc. He serves as a Member of Board of Advisors at Corebridge Limited. He serves as a Director of Conceptlabs. He served as a Non-Executive Director of ebookers Ltd. since October 1999. He is also a visiting Professor to UCL, Essex, and Kent universities and holds the Collier Chair for the Public Understanding of Science and Technology at the University of Bristol and is a Member of the New York Academy of Sciences. Prof. Cochrane led a team that received the Queen's Award for Innovation & Export in 1990, the Martlesham Medal for contributions to fibre optic technology in 1994, the IEE Electronics Division Premium in 1986, Computing and control Premium in 1994, the IERE Benefactors Prize in 1994, the James Clerk Maxwell Memorial Medal in 1995, IBTE Best Paper Prize and Honorary Doctorates from Essex, Robert Gordon, Stafford, and Nottingham Trent Universities and was awarded an OBE in 1999 for his contribution to international communications. He was awarded an IEEE Millennium Medal in 2000 for outstanding contributions by IEEE U.K. and Ireland. e has published widely in all areas of telecommunications studies and is also a regular contributor to the international paper and electronic press, radio, and television. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Electrical Engineering (IEE), Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (IEEE), Royal Academy of Engineering, and the New York Academy of Sciences. Prof. Cochrane’s educational qualifications include OBE, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., D.Sc., CGIA, F.Eng., FIEE, FIEEE, and FRSA
