With a background in digital marketing, Phil joined WordStream's Customer Success team in 2012, helping thousands of SMB's and digital marketing agencies achieve stronger ROI on their Google, Facebook, and Bing advertising. During his 7 years at WordStream, the company has grown significantly with the customer success function expanding from 10 to 65 professionals serving over 3,500 software customers.

Phil is currently the Director of Customer Success at WordStream, overseeing a customer-obsessed team responsible for onboarding, engaging, and retaining WordStream's SaaS clients. His role includes creating and leading the team’s operational infrastructure and implementing and managing WordStream's Gainsight programs over the last three years. Whether it's in the nitty gritty metrics of a Google Ads campaign or slicing and dicing NPS and churn metrics, Phil has a passion for data analysis and has leveraged that expertise to help scale Customer Success efforts at WordStream.

A native Wisconsinite, Phil moved out east to get a degree in Psychology from Boston College and has since become a true Bostonian, minus the accent. More recently he's been connecting with his inner Italian, eating plenty of good pasta while living in Boston's Little Italy neighborhood.
