A civil engineer by profession, with a specialty in strategic planning (Western University) and finance (Harvard Business School), Robert Courteau is a seasoned specialist in organizational development for businesses, especially where information technology plays a leading role.With more than 25 years of experience in the information technology sector, Mr. Courteau has held several leading positions including general manager of IBM Global Services for the province of Quebec and vice president of information technology and chief information officer at Westburne ($3 billion, 550 branches). In January 2002, Mr. Courteau was named president and chief executive officer of Nexxlink Technologies, Inc. In February 2005, having doubled the company's market value, Nexxlink was sold to Bell Canada and became Bell Business Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bell Canada. Mr. Courteau was named CEO of the new subsidiary and, between 2002 and 2007, Bell Business Solutions has grown from $60M to $160M, and from 325 to 1,100 employees.In 2007, Mr. Courteau left Bell Canada to create Courteau Mainville Management, a company that specializes in executive coaching for strategic customers and up-and-coming IT companies in which Courteau Mainville Management maintains a financial stake. Since March 2009, Mr. Courteau has held the position of senior vice-president, business solutions, at Fujitsu Canada.
