Sahar is the senior director of Advanced Analytics and Data Management with the Internal Audit team at CIBC. She has held BI and analytics leadership roles in different areas of the bank, including the office of the CDO, Cards & Payments, Finance, and Marketing, and she leads CIBC’s BI and Analytics Community of Practice.

Sahar is an advocate of self-serve, automated, and visual analytics and of enabling the business users with tools and data that will help them become more agile and relevant in delivering insights and analyses.

Sahar holds degrees in software engineering, economic systems engineering, and business administration. She lives in Toronto, Canada.
