He and his team help the largest, most sophisticated performance marketers drive revenue uplift and increased ROI by optimizing their omni-channel customer acquisition programs across Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Display ad exchanges.

Steve currently manages the field sales team responsible for the fast-growing Media Optimizer solution business in the US, west of Texas. Steve's team has over-achieved against quarterly and annual goals. Steve was also selected for 2012 Platinum Club as recognition for personal achievement. Steve came to Adobe from Adobe's acquisition of Efficient Frontier (acquired for $400M) in January 2012.

Before Efficient Frontier, Steve headed up the advertiser platform business efforts at YuMe, Inc. a leading leading provider of digital video advertising solutions that IPO'd in August 2013.

From mid-2006 to summer 2010, Steve held various sales roles at DoubleClick / Google. Steve was the first West Coast sales hire after Hellman & Friedman took DCLK private in late 2005 to focus on performance Marketer-direct sales (DFA's historical strength had been with Agencies). Steve was selected to 2007 President's Club (the last one prior to GOOG) for his over-achievement as well as separate recognition for Deal of the Year.

Following Google's acquisition of DCLK (acquired for $3.2B) in April of 2008, Steve continued his role as a Sr. Account Executive on Google's Americas Platform team, where he led new business for the Retail, Financial Services and Auto advertiser verticals, selling to and working with both the clients direct and their media agency partners. Steve was recognized with the Google Rain Stick in 2009 and 2010.

Prior to DoubleClick, Steve Thommes served as vice president of sales and business development for a pioneer in the analytics space, spearheaded business development efforts at one of the largest online social networks (acquired for $500M), led business development for a pioneer in online higher education (acquired by Laureate Education), and managed programs on the community team at the largest - actually "the" Web 1.0 online community (acquired for $3.6B).

Steve Thommes first washed over the Internet reef in 1994 when he co-founded, launched and headed sales for Websight magazine and free.websight.com. He and his co-founder raised capital from an executive producer of Seinfeld to support their shared vision: providing consumers the best "TV Guide" to the Web.
