Mr. Katz is one of the preeminent figures and leading thinkers in matters of information security. He is the world’s first Chief Information Security Officer having been CISO at Citibank/Citigroup, JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch, and was appointed the Financial Services Sector Coordinator for Critical Infrastructure Protection by the Secretary of the Treasury.

Mr. Katz has served as a Founder and Chairman of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center, Chairman of the American Bankers Association Information Systems Security Committee, Vice Chair Financial Services Roundtable-BITS Security and Risk Assessment Committee, and Member of both the New York Clearinghouse Banks Data Security Officers Committee, and the Securities Industry Association Information Security Committee. He is currently the founder and president of Security Risk Solutions LLC.
