Dr. Tzafra Cohen has served as our Vice President Infant Nutrition since July 2010. She also served as Chief Executive Office of Advanced Lipids AB from September 2010 to December 2012. Dr. Cohen has served as a Vice President of Enzymotec since joining Enzymotec in 2005, having served as our Vice President, Research & Development, from 2005 to 2010, with responsibility for clinical trials, regulatory affairs and intellectual property. Prior to joining Enzymotec, Dr. Cohen was Vice President, Production and Director of R&D at MGVS Ltd., a biotech company that develops cell therapy products that address blood vessel disorders, from 2001 to 2004. Prior thereto, she was director of the pathology laboratory at the Carmel Medical Center, Haifa, Israel from 1999 to 2001, and a research associate in the vascular biology laboratory, at the Technion from 1997 to 1999. Dr. Cohen holds a bachelor’s degree (summa cum laude), master’s degree and a Ph.D in biotechnology and food engineering from the Technion.
