At just 23 years young, Valentin has already had exposure and experience in a variety of blockchain and emerging technology-focused fields. In 2018, he was accepted into Draper University. Funding his way through DU by writing tokenomics reports for some of the first country x crypto collaborations, he went on to join one of the first NFT companies, Real Items, which used an in-house developed dashboard to tag hundreds of thousands of supply chain items.

He co-founded Atlantic Ventures, a research and advisory firm, focused on emerging tech and sustainability with ongoing contracts with multiple DAX and MDAX companies.

After that, he joined Advanced Blockchain where he, together with his co founders, came up with the idea for Quasar Finance, a Cosmos project that is home to next-generation DeFi investment opportunities, powered by expert and community driven strategies. He spun out & raised $6M USD in the seed round from some of the best investors in the space, including Polychain Capital & Blockchain Capital.

Growing up in Germany as a first generation immigrant to Eastern-European parents, he experienced first hand the direct impact bad fiscal, monetary and financial policies can have on the general population. Quasar aims to help these people.
