Dr. William Gewirtz was the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at AT&T Business Services. He has been an Advisor to networking companies, consultancies, and investors. Dr. Gewirtz was responsible for assessing technology and customer requirements for a $28 billion unit of AT&T. Previously at Bell Laboratories, he led AT&T's technical field organization, formed and led the managed services organization, and built AT&T's IP network. Dr. Gewritz is currently a Member of Advisory Board at Portview Communications Partners LP. He has a Ph.D. in Logic and Computer Sciences from New York University.
