Yuvaraj is the Chief Human Resource Officer at MakeMyTrip.com where he leads HR for the company including its overseas entities. He joined the Company in May 2014. His key focus areas include Talent Management, Leadership Development, workforce management and driving MakeMyTrip's relentless efforts on being both a great place to work and a contributor to community development.
Yuvaraj has nearly 16 years of corporate experience following five-and-a-half years’ service with the Indian Armed Forces. He worked for Asian Paints Limited for around 9 years in different roles including Head HR for the Mumbai plant. Next, Yuvaraj spent three years with The Oberoi, New Delhi as Director – Human Resources. In 2010 he joined PepsiCo India as Vice President HR for West and Central India; later he led HR for All India Sales and Organisation Capability (foods business), and also served as Director – Organisation Capability (PepsiCo India region). Yuvaraj has extensive experience of handling all domains of HR including Employee Relations, Change Management, People Development, Culture Build and Corporate Social Responsibility. He is passionate about OD and learning & development and has been accredited as certified trainer for various courses and programs.
Yuvaraj is an MBA in HR from IMT Ghaziabad and graduate in Industrial Psychology from University of Allahabad. He loves indulging in freewheeling discussion and debate on Indian political system, likes old Indian melodies and spends his spare time watching talk shows.
